Glenda Lou (Fox) Kennedy, of Farmington, MO, entered into rest on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the age of 73 years, 8 months, and 26 days. She was born June 27, 1952, in St. Louis, MO, a daughter of the late Billy Joe and Lue Dora "Doey" (Austin) Fox.

On April 1, 1980, Glenda was united in marriage to Thomas Kennedy who survives. To this union a daughter, Tommi Jo Kennedy, was born.

Surviving Glenda are her husband, Tom, their daughter, Tommi Jo of St. Clair Shores, MI, a brother, Billy Joe Fox and wife Patsy of Iron Mountain, MO, two sisters, Brenda and Melinda Fox, both of Ironton, MO, and a host of loving family members.

She is preceded in rest by her parents, and a sister, Linda Kay Williams.

Glenda worked for the Department of Family Services for 32 years, serving Reynolds, Iron and Wayne counties, retiring as a social worker. She was a proud member of Job's Daughters, a past member of the First Baptist Church in Centerville, and an avid reader who just enjoyed a good book. She was a lover of all music, finding the beauty of each note in any genre, she loved the ocean, she loved her family, and as a child, she travelled all over singing at different events and churches with her family as her mother played the piano.

Glenda Lou Kennedy was a loving and devoted daughter, mother, wife, and sister. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
