Mother loved to cook for the family. She would cook over the weekend and would freeze it for our weekly dinners. We have so many memories at the dinner table. Baking adorable birthday cakes as well. Mother was a seamstress for her family. She made our clothes as we grew up. When they started square dancing, she would make dresses for herself, Daddy's shirts, and clothes for us children too. As time changed in our lives she started crocheting. Whatever caught her eyes at the time and shared with family.
