Margie Louise (Ayres) Nulisch, 83, of Ochelata, OK, joined her beloved husband Marvin in heaven on Monday, August 18, 2025. Margie was born October 9, 1941, in Vinita, OK, to Faye Delbert Ayres and Fern Marion (Barrett) Ayres. She attended elementary and middle school off and on in California. She was a fierce competitor on her basketball team in high school. She graduated from Bluejacket High School in 1959. In the 1960s and '70s, she was employed at the Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise, where she met Marvin Nulisch. The loving couple married on July 16, 1969, in Pineville, MO, and they made their home in Bartlesville, OK. Margie was a stay-at-home mom for a time while her children were young, but in addition to working in the lay-out/paste up department of the newspaper, her previous employment history includes serving as a hostess at the Hillcrest Country Club, customer service at CR Anthony's, her and Marvin helped manage, restore and preserve properties throughout Bartlesville. Margie was a talented crafter. She enjoyed reading mystery books, sewing, quilting and crocheting. She loved singing and was involved in church small groups. Margie loved to invite people over so that she could cook a good meal for them. One of her favorite fundraisers for her church was selling her fried pies. Everyone really loved them. She had attended Christ Gospel Church of Bartlesville, Vine Life Church, and then Christ Gospel Church in Tulsa. She was strong in her faith. Her favorite people in this world called her Nana. Margie is survived by her three children, Juana (Anderson) Gomez and husband Tommy, Jim Anderson and his wife Dolores, and Teresa (Nulisch) Rogers; eight grandchildren Cassia Anderson, Tarah Gomez, Christina Via, Kevin Anderson, Talicia Yarborough, Hannah Rogers, Arlie Rogers III, and Ashley Ibanez; 27 great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Nulisch; her parents, Faye and Fern Ayres; her five siblings, Carolyn Hughes, Ralph Ayres, Orbin Ayres, Verna Faye Hines, and Jane Alice Parks; and three great-grandchildren who were triplets, Delrentiz Anderson, Dacianelle Anderson, and Jamar Anderson. Visitation will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 4201 Nowata Road, Bartlesville, OK 74006, 918-333-7665. Her family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. that same day. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2025, at Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel with the Reverend Donnie Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Dewey Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Anderson, Elijah Anderson, Jaihdyn Nulisch, Zacharie Nulisch-Farmer, Makye Crook, Christopher Ibanez. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Anderson, Tommy Gomez, Arlie Rogers III, Chris Yarborough, and Sody Wake.
