Glenda Smith Obituary

Mrs. Smith was born in Cave Spring, Georgia on August 3, 1942, daughter of the late Ruth Ashworth Mobbs and the late Alfred Mobbs. She was also preceded in death by one son, one stepdaughter, as well as 11 of her 14 siblings. Mrs. Smith was raised in Cave Spring and attended Cave Spring High School. She worked at Hostess Bakery in Rome and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith enjoyed traveling with her husband and loved watching her grandchildren participate in sports, dance, and cheering activities.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 45 years, Calvin J. Smith; two daughters; three stepchildren; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held in Rome Memorial Park.
