Glenn Richard Artz

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Glenn Richard Artz of Lancaster, California, born on November 14, 1946 in Southern California, and died on July 8, 2023 in Lancaster, California at the age of 76 of acute organ failure.
Glenn was predeceased by his parents, Richard Lee Artz and Marilyn Jeanette (Baker) Artz, his brother Gary Lee Artz, his nephew Brandon Petritsch, and his grandparents Theodore J. Artz and Anna C. (Kamen) Artz; paternal aunts and uncles Raymond Artz, Kathleen Reibling (Bob), Elaine Christian (Thomas), and maternal uncle Warren Baker (Edna). Glenn is survived by his sisters Linda Limas, Liana Petritsch (Bob), and Laurie Smith (Ron); stepmother Gloria (Hight) Artz; nieces and nephews Brian Smith (Jill), Cheri Jones (Jesse), Kevin Smith, Wendy Prestridge (Mike), Kyle Petritsch, and Aaron Petritsch; grandnieces and nephews Carson Smith, Sydney Smith, Nora Smith, Brittany Littell, Crystal Smith, and Shawn Sheets; great grandniece and nephew Lilly Stadler and Logan Haught; and by his paternal aunt Mary Ann Imthurn, and numerous cousins including close friend Debbie Imthurn.
Glenn was a talented musician, HAM radio enthusiast, and table tennis player who made his living in technology sales. Glenn will be fondly remembered by all for his droll wit, humor, intellect, philosophical mindset, and gentle spirit. May he rest in peace.
