Glenn Benters Obituary
Moore Haven – Glenn Edward Benters died October 4, 2024. He was born August 17, 1948 in Prophetstown, Illinois. A resident of Moore Haven for eight years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Mr. Benters was preceded in death by his father, John Benters; mother, Ruth Benters; and brother, Kevin Benters.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Bunton, of Moore Haven, FL; son, Shane Benters (Jessica), of Hartford, WV; daughters, Heather Cox, of Norfolk, AR and Katie Holland, of Wake Forrest, NC; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers, Charlie, of Missouri and Eldon, of Lena, IL; and other children, Phillip Bunton, of North Carolina, Carmen Bunton, of Moore Haven, Florida, and Tiffany Reed (Bill), of Lena, IL.
The family is planning a private memorial at a later date.
