Glenn Best, of rural Amber, passed away January 22 in Yuma, AZ. He was born May 14, 1931, to Luke and Frances Best, joining his older brother, Luke. He graduated from Cheney High School in 1949 and married Elinor Edmiston in 1950. Together, they had three children: Glenna, Connie, and Frank. Glenn was a lifelong farmer, beginning at age 19, and remained actively involved in the farm until his death. In 2000, he began wintering in Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother. Glenn is survived by his present wife, Miki, his three children, five grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. A service will be planned in the spring.
