Glenn Alan Hawkins, 59, of Belews Creek, N.C., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born to the late J.C. Thomas Hawkins and Lillie Tuttle Hawkins on September 5, 1965, in Forsyth County. Glenn graduated from East Forsyth High School in 1983 and went on to get his associate's degree from Forsyth Technical Community College in 2004. Glenn spent 39 years working for Hanes Brands, Inc., where he worked his way up to Plant Manager. He ended his career as the Manager of Operations at McMichael Mills. Glenn enjoyed many hobbies such as riding his Harley with his wife, Angie, driving his classic corvette to cruise-ins with his brother, Tommy. He especially loved beach trips to Ocean Isle, N.C., and spending quality time with his family. Glenn will be remembered as someone who truly never met a stranger and always wanted to help others. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his nephew, Christopher Rhoades. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Angela Quick Hawkins; sons, Zachary Alan Hawkins (Emily), and Adam Tyler Hawkins (Callie Hall); sister, Joan McClamrock; brother, Tommy Hawkins (Susan); five nieces; two nephews; five great-nieces; three great-nephews; mother-in-law, Barbara Quick; sister-in-law, Tammy Reid (Tim); and brother-in-law, Michael Quick (Brooke).

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church. Officiating the service is Pastor Jeffrey Coppley and Pastor Pete King. Burial will follow the service at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, N.C.
