Glenn M. Moody, 81, of Worden, IL, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born March 8, 1944, in St. Louis, MO, to Ned E. and Bernice (nee Hayden) Moody. On July 29, 1967, he married Margaret Ann Amistadi in Edwardsville, IL.
Glenn was a member of Worden Methodist Church in Worden, IL. After High School he enlisted in the Army and had a tour in Vietnam. Upon his return home he married Margaret and started working at Ford Motor Co. Assembly Plant, retiring in 1999. Glenn was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, a care giver to his mother for several years. His passion was his garden, and he was very involved at his church, a good Christian man. Glenn loved his holiday ties and following his grandchildren’s activities. He enjoyed fishing hunting, and bow hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ned & Bernice Moody; brothers, Kenny, Dan and Raymond, in infancy; niece Sheila Moody; great niece, Allison Watson.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Moody; son, John (Kelly) Moody, Montgomery, TX; daughter, Cathy (Mike) Loew, Hamel, IL; grandchildren, Ethan Moody, Noah Moody, Grace Moody, Tyler Loew, Trent Loew; sister Linda Bell, St. Louis, MO.
Memorial donations may be made to Worden Methodist Church, Worden, IL.
Per his request there will be no services.
