Glenn Owen Norris, 56, Little Orleans, MD., passed away Saturday, August 19 ,2023.
Born April 19, 1967, in Hagerstown, MD., he was the son of the late Grant Norris and Judith King Norris, and the husband of Rita Norris.
He was a graduate of Frankford High School in Short Gap, WV.
He was employed at the Oak Barrel Café, in Little Orleans, MD., for over 7 yrs.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge 1483, Berkeley Springs, WV.
He loved hunting and fishing, riding his Triumph Motorcycle and working and rebuilding his old model cars.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Jack Poffenberger, and wife, Allissa, Williamsport, MD., and Austin Poffenberger, and wife, Cheyenne, of Flintstone, MD; four grandchildren, Jack, Colton, Journey, and Kinsley; a brother, Daniel Norris, Cumberland, MD.; and a nephew, Floyd Norris, of Cumberland, MD.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Levi Norris
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 24, 2023, 6-8:00 pm, and Friday, August 25, 2023, 10-11:00 am at Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, MD. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Pastor Larry Stevens will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Piney Plains Cemetery, Little Orleans, MD.
