Glenn Charles Stisser, 61, of Goose Creek, owner and operator of Glenn C. Stisser, CPA, accounting firm, died Saturday at his residence.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date, according to Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner.
Mr. Stisser was born March 3, 1962, in Schenectady, NY, a son of Charles Stisser and Anita Lewis Stisser. He graduated from Burnt Hills - Ballston Lake High School in New York and went on to receive his bachelors in accounting and business administration from Gordon College in Boston. He later became certified as a CPA and worked for Thomas & Associates, CPA firm for over ten years. He then started his own accounting business which he operated for the past 12 years. In that time, Glenn greatly enjoyed his work and the numerous friendships with clients that formed as a result. In his spare time he enjoyed watching football, especially the Carolina Gamecocks and Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed cooking on the grill at home. Mr. Stisser was a U.S. Navy veteran and a dedicated member of Ridge Baptist Church where he used to play the hand bells, sang in the choir, served coffee as an usher, and served as an accountant! Mr. Stisser especially loved his two dogs, Maggie and Bella.
Surviving are his wife Bonni Vega Dangerfield-Stisser; two step-daughters, Lindsay D. Haidary and her husband Adam, of John's Island, and Rachel D. Ramsey and her husband Shaun, of Atlanta; and his brother, Mark Stisser of Cross.

"I am so sad to hear of the passing of my friend and associate of more than 20 years. Glenn and I were first of all friends though we met through business. He was always a calm and steady hand, careful thinker and wise counsel. I always enjoyed talking with "Dr. Stisser" as I would reference him when we would first talk. He will be both sadly and sorely missed! My condolences to Bonni, Lindsay, Rachel, Mark and his parents as well as everyone else that loved and appreciated Glenn."
