Lisa dedicated her life to being a mother to anyone and everyone who was hungry and in need of a roof and place to lay their head.
Lisa was an early riser. She would have already worked a four hour day by the time the last child was on the school bus. Lisa cherished each handwritten note she received from those who thought to take the time to write her. Lisa celebrated every accomplishment her children and "couch" kids made as if it were her own.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Santos; mother, Dolores; father, Daniel Joseph; brother, Dennis.
Lisa is survived by her six children, Brian, Zachary, Gabriel, Muñeca, Lizelle and Aurora; four grandchildren, Killian, Lilah, Mia and Scarlett; three sisters, Julie, Tina and Jean; brother, Danny Joe; Lisa's "couch" kids, Christopher, Wade, Holden and Corey.
A Memorial Service for Lisa will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Trahan Family Funeral Home. Family will receive guests at 3:30 p.m. The service will begin at 4:00 p.m.
