Glenn Warren Obituary
Mr. Glenn Thomas Warren, age 54, of Dublin, went to be with his Lord, on Sunday, February 25, 2024, following a brief illness.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jill; a son, Jared (Haleigh) Warren; his mother, Brylene Warren; sister, Arleen Cameron; sisters-in-law, Hollie (Chuck) Beale, Cristy (Cameron) Lee, and Cindy Warren; nieces, Michelle Wilkinson, Courtney Warren, Shay (Eric) Grimes, Roxie (Jackson) Morris, Anna Claire Beale, Olivia Lee and Laura Lee; nephews, Daniel Cameron and Luke Warren; great-nieces, Brenna Grimes, Arley Grimes, and Emberlee Tucker; great-nephews, Aydon Warren, Sawyer Smith, Braxton Cameron, RJ Morris, and Dudley Morris, and a host of great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, the late Thomas Ethridge Warren; brother, Don Warren, and nephew, Josh Warren.
Glenn was a loving husband, father, uncle, and friend to everyone. His big smile and sense of humor ensured that he never met a stranger. He meant so much to so many including his coworkers and customers at Piggly Wiggly. Glenn loved hunting, fishing, the beach, basketball, and anything that he could do outdoors. He was fun, kind, quick-witted, and could always make people laugh. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He will be missed by so many and we are proud of him in so many ways. He was loved more than he could have ever known.
Glenn was especially proud of the fact that Jared is attending seminary school at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Jared and his wife, Haleigh, will move to New Orleans in July to continue following the Lord's direction in their life. With that in mind, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations, in support of Jared's education expenses, be made at any Bank of Dudley branch or mailed to the Jared Warren Seminary Fund, c/o Bank of Dudley, P.O. Box 4098, Dublin, Georgia 31040.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Poplar Springs North Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Joey Diers and Rev. James Hughes will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the funeral home. The family will also be gathered at the home of Archie and Linda Heath.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Bates, Doug Bethea, Rob Callaway, Billy Evans, Steven Knight, Brian Smith, and Heath Spires.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to all of our friends and family for their loving care, support, and prayers during Glenn's illness.
