Glenna Rae Garrett, age 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2026, at home with family at her side. She was born February 21,1934 to the late Carl and Berta Workman Jett.

Glenna worked in the Bracken County Courthouse for the Sheriff's Department from 1969 to her retirement in 2006 where she made many lasting friendships that she cherished so dearly over the years. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, music, and eating out.

She is survived by her daughter Sandra and her son-in-law Andy Reynolds of Brooksville, her grandson Chad Reynolds (Tara) of Harrodsburg Ky, great grandchildren Delaney Simpson (Joe), Garrett Reynolds, Kalleigh Reynolds, and Gradey Reynolds all of Brooksville and Rylee Masden of Harrodsburg Ky. She is also survived by brothers-in-law Windell Garrett of Indianapolis Indiana and Jeff Rice (Marcia) of Lexington Ky, sisters-in-law Alice Cummins (Donnie) of Foster Ky, Angie Garrett of Vanceburg Ky, Terri Garrett of Wallingford Ky, Connie Garrett of Maysville Ky, Connie Garrett of Ripley Ohio and Jackie Garrett of Indianapolis Indiana along with many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Garrett, a sister Bernell Jett, brothers Carl Jett Jr and Lanny Ross Jett, along with several brother and sister in laws.

Services will be held at the Ware Funeral Home Cynthiana, Ky. Visitation will be Saturday February 21, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday February 22, 2026, at the funeral home with burial following at the Bracken Memorial Cemetery in Brooksville, Ky. Pallbearers will be Darrell Clark, Louie King, Billy Wagel, Bob Scott, David Cummins and Mike Clark. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Nelson, Johnny Parker and Butch Cummins. Memorials are suggested to Powersville Christian Church, St Jude Children's Hospital or the Bracken Memorial Cemetery. View and sign the guest book www.warefuneralhome.com.
