Glenna Mae Garton, 79, of Upper Deerfield Township went to be at peace with the lord on December 29, 2025. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She worked for many years making clothing at various clothing factories in Elmer, before working at Custom Classics. There she made show clothing for many years before retiring. After retiring, her favorite pastime was caring for her cats and spending time with her grandkids. If she wasn't with her cats or grandkids, you could find her sewing clothes and quilts. Glenna Mae was a very loving and compassionate person, you would always find her willing to help out others and lend a hand. She brought a smile wherever she went and showed love to everyone in her life. Her family was her pride and joy, and her smile brought love and comfort.
She joined the Friendship Finley United Methodist Church in 1965 and was an active member. She taught Sunday school at the church and even was an assistant treasurer for many years.
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me."
