Glenna Lainio, age 98, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2024. She is survived by her loving son Gregg Louis (Sharon) Lainio of St. Charles; her 7 cherished grandchildren, her 10 precious great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in passing by her beloved husband Emil "Bud" Lainio, her loving daughter Jeri Lynn (survived by Kenneth) Sisson, her precious great-grandson Asher, her dear sister Marylyn (the late Tommy) Thompson, and her proud parents J.D. and Clara Thomas.
Glenna was a devout Christian and devoted grade school teacher. She also enjoyed scrapbooking and writing down her family heritage. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends.
Friends and family will meet for visitation on November 30, 2024 at 11AM-1PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee. A Celebration of her life will begin at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Glenna's name to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. She will be deeply missed by all who know and love her.
