Glinnie Silvers Ogles, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at her residence. She was born on April 11, 1932 in Chatsworth, GA., to the late Dora & Silas Silvers of Chatsworth, GA. and was the youngest of thirteen children. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Alvin Lee Ogles; her son, Freddie Ogles; and grandson, Tracy Moody.
She worked at Curts Restaurant for 45 years and always greeted everyone with a warm smile. She was the heart and soul of her family and was the glue that bound her family together. She had the biggest heart and more than being a devoted mom she was a lifelong friend. She would spend holidays gatherings making sure everyone was taking care of and her biggest enjoyment was to make everyone around her feel welcome and cared for. She was a pilar of strength and was always full of energy. Her legacy will forever live through her family.
We lost a mother with a heart of gold, and how much we miss her could never be told. She raised us with love and helped us along, if we follow her footsteps we'll never go wrong.
Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Pam and Butch Hughes of Varnell, GA., son Ricky Olges of Chatsworth, GA., son and daughter in-law Dan and Jennifer Ogles of Tunnel Hill, GA., daughter Geneva Bell of Rome, GA., son and daughter in-law Randall and Sharon Ogles od Dalton, GA.; grandchildren Mike Bell of Chatsworth, GA., Anthony Ogles of Tunnel Hill, GA., Shelly Bell of Rome, GA., Cassie Searls of Chatsworth, GA., Keith Ogles of Chatsworth, GA., Hunter Ogles of Chatsworth, GA., Ryan Ogles of Tunnel Hill, GA., Magan Southern of Dalton, GA., Sabrina Bagley of Inglis, FL.; great grandchildren Saylor Southern, Sidney Southern, Sawyer Southern, Sryus Southern, Jackson Ogles, Raylan Ogles, Paisley Ogles, boy Troy Hogan, Randon Bagley, Tyler Moody, Nicole Bell, Maddox Broadaway, Logan Broadaway; niece, Juanita Southern; nephew, Freddie Hall.
