Mrs. Gloria Greene Adams, age 88, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, formerly of Louisville, Kentucky, died Tuesday morning, September 17, 2024 in Chapel Hill.
Mrs. Adams was born in Crockett County, Tennessee and was a daughter of the late B M and Clara Mae Jenkins Greene. She was a member of Valley Station Church of Christ in Louisville and was retired from the Jefferson County Schools where she was a nutrition services coordinator for the school system food service. She was also a member of the Jefferson County School Food Service Association, the Kentucky School Food Service Association, the American School Food Service Association and the Kentucky Association of School Business Officials.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughters, Lynna Carol Krehbiel, Chesapeake, VA, Deborah Ruth Kayser, Jacksonville, FL.; sister, Becky Bivens, Chapel Hill, TN; brother, Larry (Nancy) Green, Friendship, TN; three grandchildren; several great grandchildren. Mrs. Adams was also preceded in death by a daughter, Juanita Dawn Miller.
Family members will receive friends on Monday, September 23, 2024 for 10:00 am until 12:00 noon (Eastern time) at Advantage Funeral Home, Hardy Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon (Eastern time) from the chapel of Advantage Funeral Home, Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Hwy. Louisville, Kentucky.
