Ronnie Lee Sharp

Mr. Ronnie Lee Sharp, age 73, of Unionville, TN passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Ronnie was born November 18, 1951 in Bedford County, TN to the late Oscar Lee Sharp and Mary Ezell Pugh Sharp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John Scott Sharp, sister Shirley Cook, and a brother, Webb Sharp.

Mr. Ronnie was a loving husband. He loved deeply and cared for his wife passionately. You could always find them together. He was a very present father. Ronnie was proud of his kids and grandchildren. He loved to be outdoors. You could often find Ronnie carrying tools working on just about anything that needed to be fixed. If you ever asked Ronnie about his time at school, he would tell you, “I went in the front door, and right out the back.” He was a humorous and gentle giant. Ronnie was a great cook and enjoyed cookouts.

Mr. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary Lou Sharp of Unionville, TN; children, Chris (Tiffany) Sharp of Columbia, TN, Ronnie Sharp of Shelbyville, TN, Michael (Christie) Sharp of Unionville, TN, Joseph (Tisha) Sharp of Shelbyville, TN, Grady Estest of Cornersville, TN, Dana (Scotty) Morton of Columbia, TN, and Mary Ann (Kevin) Bynum of Shelbyville, TN; 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Steve Sharp and Terry Sharp; sisters, Kay Allen, Nancy Baker, Carolyn Camacho, Mary Estes; fur babies, Remy and Nutmeg.

The family will gather to celebrate his life on Saturday September 6, 2025 from 10 AM until 12 Noon at Lawrence Funeral Home.
