Gloria Akeley Obituary
Gloria is the beloved wife of Eugene P. Akeley, married 68 years. She is survived by her son, Mark Akeley and daughter Kristen Akeley. She is also survived by her sister, Janice Warburton and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gloria leaves behind her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren with whom she was known as Dee Dee; Cristopher Akeley, his wife Kristen and daughter Reagan; Joshua Akeley and his daughter Adeline; Zac Sequeira and his wife Annie; and Lexi Sequeira and her fiancé Vinz Umali. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Megan Sequeira.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Connecticut Humane Society of Newington, Connecticut. Calling Hours will be held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 9am till 10am at Holmes Watkins Funeral Home located at 400 Main Street, Manchester CT, with a burial to follow at Green Cemetery, located at 99 Hubbard Street, Glastonbury, CT.
