Gloria Jean Cellini, age 78, left this world peacefully at home on December 1, 2024, surrounded by her family. Gloria was born on December 22, 1945, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to Walter and Phoebe Abrahamson (nee Ridgewell).
Gloria is survived by her children Jonathan (Melissa) Cellini and Amanda (Karl) Cellini; her grandchildren Aria, Mina and Giovanni Cellini; sisters Kathy Duchow and PatriciaAndrus; along with other loving family and friends.
Gloria is preceded in death by her parents; and sisters Marilyn Stoltenberg and Toby Abrahamson.
A passionate reader, Gloria often spent hours at the local library, finding joy in the pages of countless books. Her artistic soul found expression in her love for arts and crafts, and she was especially known for her beautiful lawn art that celebrated life's special occasions, particularly her favorite holiday, Christmas. Gloria's joyful creations brought smiles to her neighbors and joy to her family. Gloria had a zest for life and an adventurous spirit. She loved traveling, especially the trips she took to visit her daughter in Norway, where she embraced new cultures and created lasting memories.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Gloria's lifelong friends, Clarice Jutz, who shared 50 wonderful years of friendship, and Anne Totoraitis, who enriched her life with 30 years of shared memories and support. Your presence in her life was a true blessing.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Oconomowoc Public Library.
In keeping with the family's wishes, there will be no services.
