Waterford, MI. Gloria Daniels, 86, died November 12, 2024. She was born August 30, 1938 in Detroit, daughter to Gilberto and Luz Pompa.
Gloria graduated from Detroit Western High School in 1955. She worked as a secretary at Ford Motor Company until beginning her family. Becoming a working mother, she worked as a secretary for a lawyer and then at General Motors, from where she retired. Gloria enjoyed reading, sewing, crochet, card games, and being with family.
Gloria is survived by her children; Maria of White Lake, Arthur (Elizabeth) of Bonita Springs, Florida, and Andrew (Kelly) of Fenton, a sister; Stella Galvan of Allen Park, a brother-in-law; Tom Weiland of Livonia, a sister-in-law; MarySue Pompa of Allen Park, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Perpetua Catholic Church, 134 Airport Road, Waterford. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday 10 a.m. until time of Mass. Memorials may be made to the Detroit Goodfellows.
