Sarah Mae Daniels was born March 16, 1935, to Francis Arlene Adams and Lucious Lee in Lambert Mississippi.
Sarah lost her mother at the age of 5, then went to live with her grandmother, Suddie Pryor, who raised her.
Sarah was preceded in death by her mother, Francis Adams; father, Lucious Lee; grandmother, Suddie Pryor; husband, Jewell Daniels; three sons: Edward Charles Woods, Marvin Louis Woods, and Leroy Cunningham.
Sarah attended school at Lambert Vocational High where she graduated in 1954. Sarah excepted Christ at an early age. She was a member at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Mississippi.
Sarah moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1962 and later became a member of Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church.
Sarah worked as a cook at Sidney's Restaurant for many years before retiring from Christ the King Private School.
In her later years, Sarah married the love of her, the late Jewell Daniels. They were happily married, inseparable until his death..
She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her sister, Mildred Smith of Kansas City, MO; three sons; Rodney Woods, James Woods (Angela), Curtis Woods, all of Kansas City MO; one daughter, Cynthia Wasson (Marlowe) of San Antonio TX; two bonus daughters: Jewelene Daniels, and Tina Spenser (Craig), both of Kansas City MO; Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
