Gloria J Ellie, 77 of The Villages, Florida has entered God’s Kingdom on September 2, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on September 22, 1946, to William & Isabelle Kern.

Gloria, a loving and devoted wife to her late husband Kenneth Fenske of 21 years and survived by her current husband Harold Ellie since 1990.

Gloria also is survived by her loving sister Carole Miller, three children Ken (Lisa) Fenske, Shirley (Lee) Slavinsky and Andrew (Lori) Fenske. Three stepchildren Tammy (Marc) Chart, John Ellie, David Ellie. Grandchildren Mona Delsman, Marissa Delsman, Calli Delsman, Jordan Fenske, Brett (Bailee) Slavinsky, Bandon Slavinsky, Kenny Fenske, Leah Fenske, Nathan (Erica) Chart, Brianna (Paul) Jacobson, Mikayla (Nick) Delo, Tyler (Jackie) Ellie, Amanda (Jacob) Fix, Hayley (Daniel) Jurasovich and Matthew (Alison) Ellie. Gloria was also survived by seven great grandchildren. She adored, supported, cheered for, and was a great role model for all of her grandchildren.

Gloria was raised in Waukesha, WI, graduated from Waukesha South. Upon graduation got married to Ken Fenske and started their family life, moving to their first home in Mukwonago, WI, where she not only worked several jobs as a secretary but raised her three children.

After the passing of her late husband Ken, she remarried to Harold and lived in Wisconsin till 2007 when she retired from Accurate Products of 19 years and moved to The Villages, Florida.

Gloria had a personality and natural charisma to make friends no matter the situation and a laugh infectious to all around her (even when about her). Gloria also had so many hobbies throughout life, bowling (300) game, golf, shuffleboard, many card games and board games with so many different groups, along with reading a good book. Also, lover of loons and lake activities.

Gloria was also blessed with traveling throughout her life. In the early years, many summers were spent at the cottage in Lake Tomahawk. Later on, she and Harold enjoyed many cruises and trips; some of which were Australia/New Zealand, Hawaii, Caribbean and some wonderful family and friend trips as well.

Gloria was a truly great woman whose impact on family will be forever felt. The love and support will be engrained in all she knew.

A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Fox River Christian Church S46 W24130 Lawnsdale Road, Waukesha, WI 53189. The visitation will be from 3:00 PM until the 5:00 PM memorial service.
