Gloria E. Foley, a beloved and cherished member of her community, peacefully passed away on February 7, 2025, in Riverhead, New York, at the age of 88. Born on June 11, 1936, Gloria led a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.
She is survived by her devoted children : Patricia (John) LoPresti, Marion (Joe) Pallotta, Robert (Donna) Foley and Mary Foley. Gloria took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to her grandchildren: Robert, Jennifer, Matthew, Kathleen, Raymond, Christina, James, Robert, Lauren, Joseph, and Marina. Additionally, she was a doting great-grandmother to Sean, Kevin, Connor, Daniel, Andrew, and Chloe, who will miss her warmth and guidance dearly.
Gloria's brother, Butch Tolles, stands as a testament to her deep familial connections which were a central part of her life. She is predeceased by her parents, Willard Tolles and Louise Daly, as well as her sister Marion whose legacies continue to live on through the stories shared by their loving family.
The memory of Gloria will be honored during visitation services at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home, located at 406 E Main St, Riverhead, NY. The visitation will take place on February 10, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again later that evening from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A funeral service will follow on February 11, 2025, at the First Congregational Church of Riverhead, beginning at 11:00 AM.
Throughout her life, Gloria E. Foley was a beacon of strength and love, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. Her spirit will continue to inspire and guide her family and friends as they carry her memory forward.
