I am so sad to learn of Gloria passing. I will always remember her smile, her wit and her generosity. I was her tenant for many years, had great admiration and respect for her and truly considered her my friend. Gloria had a wonderful sense of humor and we´d often grouse and laugh about neighborhood politics. She once said I was the first tenant to ever offer her a cup of tea. I always kept sweet-n-low on hand just for her.
She loved my homemade soups; split-pea was her favorite. Gloria was such a lively character. Although she slowed down a bit the last year or so, for a long time she was like the energizer bunny, marching to the beat of her own drum, always on the go, always smiling. Always in her sun hat and ponytail. That's how I will remember her. God bless you, Gloria. Rest in peace my friend.
