Gloria Ruth Lambert, 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Born, March 9, 1946, in Marlboro County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Hannah Isabelle Ainsworth Laundreaux. She was a Christian woman and devoted member of North Cheraw Baptist Church. Gloria was compassionate and loved helping and giving to others. Mrs. Lambert was a hard worker in the education field for 30+ years, and enjoyed reading, and watching movies. Gloria also loved spending time with her family and friends, and she had a love for hot air balloons.
Along with her parents, listed above, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, William “Bill” Wesley Lambert; and her brothers, Victor Laundreaux, Jr. and Joseph Laundreaux.
Gloria leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Adam (Ashley) Lambert of Cheraw, SC; a daughter, Tish (David, Sr.) Hitesman of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren, David Hitesman, Wesley Lambert, Kati Lambert, Jonathan Lambert; and a great-grandchild, Braxton Crowley.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at North Cheraw Baptist Church in Cheraw, SC.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in Fellowship Hall of North Cheraw Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to North Cheraw Baptist Church, Building Fund, 101 Hartzell Ave., Cheraw, SC 29520.
Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted with serving the Lambert Family.
