Gloria LaRue (Willis) Mollenhour, age 88, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at her home surrounded by family and friends. Loving wife of James Allen (late husband) and devoted mother of Doug (Mary), Greg, Mike (Lisa) and Mindy (David) Dickson; Grandmother of 9 (Jamie, Christy, Jimmy, Michelle, Jason, Ryan, Zachary, Conor and Cadence); Great-Grandmother of 7 (Isaiah, Jordan, Jayden, Ethan, Blair, Kawika and Milo); Preceded in death by her two sisters, Jeanette Horton and Pam Nowatka.
A visitation for LaRue will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Legacy Lodge, 4801 SAN JOSE BLVD, JACKSONVILLE, FL 32207. A funeral service will occur at 11:00 AM immediately followed by a graveside service and reception (also located at the Oaklawn Legacy Lodge).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one of these organizations that are near and dear to our family:
