Gloria Klein Rubin, 79, of Pittsfield passed away on November 10, 2024 while at her home in Canton, Georgia.
Born August 8th, 1945 in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of Jack and Lillian Klein.
Along with her husband, Allen, Gloria was a proficient business owner for many decades. Their business ventures included Berkshire Products, Inc.; Wigwam Center, Inc.; and Rubin Mill in Housatonic.
Both Gloria and her husband were strong supporters of Berkshire Pulse: A Center for the Creative Arts. Gloria loved spending time with her family, and taking care of her beloved dog, Molly.
Gloria is survived by her sons, Jeffery, and Eric Rubin, daughter in-law Lauren, grandchildren David, Brian, Zachary, Corey, Jessica, Rebecca, great grandchildren Allisan, Joshua, Holton, Madelyn, Skyler, Harper, Elisabeth, brother Nelson Klein and his wife Sherrie, sister-in-law Susan, and nieces and nephews Brian, Amy, James, Evan, and Liora Klein.
Gloria is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Allen, her brother Cliff Klein, and brother-in-law Harvey C. Rubin.
A service celebrating Gloria Rubin will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Finnerty and Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington, MA. Burial will be held at a later date at Ahavath Sholom Cemetery in Great Barrington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gloria's memory to the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, Inc in honor of her grandchild Corey Rubin, through Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, 426 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230.
