Gloria Ann Walker, age 58, of Clovis, NM, passed away on January 13, 2026, in Lubbock, TX. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, the family will gather from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at the Chapel of Angels, 1430 Thornton Street. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, 1:00 pm, St. John's Baptist Church, at 1215 Gila Street with Pastor Bryian Phillips Sr., and Pastor Kent Creamer officiating. Burial to follow at Mission Garden of Memories, 2900 W 7th Street. Pallbearers will be Tyrone Phillips, Christopher Phillips, Derrick Phillips, Jaden Phillips, Xavier Walker, and Dominique Small.

Gloria was born on November 5, 1967, to Jesse Walker and Ruthie Mae (Jenkins) Walker in Clovis, NM. She worked as a Dietary Aide.

Survivors include her brothers; James, Walker (wife Sharon), Curtis Walker (wife Monica), Jewel Walker (wife Elvia), Marvin Walker and Jesse Lee Walker, sisters; Carolyn Phillips (husband Bryian), Patricia Walker, Brenda Gutierrez (husband Anthony), Mechelle Hamilton (husband Donald), Linda McPherson (husband David), 31 nieces and nephews, 59 great nieces and great nephews, and one great-great grandnephew (her adopted Children).

She is preceded in death by her parents; Jesse Walker and Ruthie Mae Jenkins, grandparents; Ed and Odessa Jenkins, Theodore W. Walker, and Ethel Smith, uncles; Jerry L. Smith, Sammie Smith, aunts; Geneva Guyton, Barbara Steptoe, and Sedila Hodges, nephew; Bryian Phillips Jr., and two brothers; David L. Walker and Roy Brown.

She was more than a dietary aid, she was yes lady, our everything's gonna work out lady, our counselor, therapist... the best hidden sense of humor ...our best cooker of monkey bread, she meant a lot to all of us, when she wasn't at work we knew it...we all loved her very much and she will leave a mark and more than one memory in our hearts .. luv you, RIP dear friend love Carmen..
