Gloria was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan on July 9, 1952, to Rose Ellen and Jacob Weiss, II.
Gloria graduated from Rudyard High School and after completing cosmetology school, operated a beauty shop at her home for many years. If a client was unable to come to her, she would go to them and would often refuse payment from those in need.
She loved animals and had many during her lifetime, the latest being her beloved cat Pepper, for whom a loving home was found with family.
Gloria loved her friends and she and her husband spent countless hours helping, transporting and lending a helping hand to many.
Gloria is survived by her husband Richard Weber, and family members Ruby (James) Allen, Linda (Vern) Dotts, Jacob (Mary) Weiss, Richard (Sarah deceased) Weber, Kathryn (Herbert) Kangas, Jeffrey (Jamie) Weber, Sarah (William) Archand, Kenneth (Carissa McKerchie) Weber and many grandchildren, aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and her dear friend Phyllis Chan.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents Rose Ellen and Jacob Weiss, II.
A funeral service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Allenville, Michigan on Friday June 28, 2024 at 11 a.m., where she has been a lifetime active member.
Gloria's memory and her legacy of kindness and generosity to many friends and family will be forever cherished.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Allenville, Michigan.
Family Life Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be left to the family at www.familylifefh.com.

I´m so sorry to read this. Gloria was an amazing woman. I met her when I was just a kid going up to the UP! She gave me lots of haircuts and even send us back to Ohio with kittens that needed homes. She was one of a kind! RIP!
