Ms. Gloris Ann Moore

Gloris A. Moore was born on January 17, 1954 in Brownsville, Tennessee the daughter of Magnolia Moore. She passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the age of 71 years.
Ms. Moore was a member of TrueVine Missionary Baptist church where she served faithfully on the Nurses Ministry. She attended Carver High School in Brownsville, Tennessee. Gloris was employed at Vlasic Pickle Factory for over twenty years. She was later employed at Hemlock Semiconductor until her health failed.
Gloris enjoyed watching "Walker Texas Ranger", "Madlock" and "The Golden Girls". She also enjoyed watching game shows or scouting out a good rummage sale. As quiet as Gloris seemed, she was very "OUTSPOKEN", kind, very unique and loving. She was quick to show her beautiful smile. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Gloris is survived by her loving and dedicated son, Jacoby Moore. Her sisters Malone Reid of Saginaw, MI whom she resided with during her illness, Pamela Hardison, Jamesville, NC, Deborah Harris of Covington, GA and Margaret Matthews, Decatur, IL. She also leaves her bonus sisters, Mabel Martin, Vickie Pearce, Sandy Calhoun and Deborah Williams. Brothers, Deacon John (Dorothy) Moore, Saginaw, MI and Keith (Londa) Ferguson of Memphis, TN and Elmer (Karol) Moore, Decatur, IL. nieces, Janice (Sharman) Byrd, Saginaw, MI, Latasha M. Reid, Saginaw, MI, Sharon Nash, Saginaw, MI, Pamela (Tiaris) Northern of Jamesville, NC, Yvonne Moore, Decatur, GA, Candace Moore, Cleveland, OH and Autumn Scott, Saginaw, MI; a host of nephews, cousins and friends.
Gloris Ann Moore was preceded in death by her precious son, Damien Moore; mother, Magnolia Moore, sister, Jean Moore, brothers, Herman and Henry Moore, uncle, George Moore, beloved nephew, Jerry Essex and her "special mother", Willie Morris.
The family extends special thanks to caregiver, Rhonda Bridgewater and Dee, MyMichigan Medical Center–5th floor and Great Lakes Rehabilitation.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 16, 2025 at Truevine Baptist Church, 2930 Janes Ave., Saginaw, MI 48601. Pastor Paul E. Broaddus will officiate. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3210 S. Washington., Saginaw, MI 48601. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
