Glynn Edward Stokes

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Glynn E. Stokes, a beloved father, brother, and friend. Born on July 1, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan, Glynn's journey in life came to a peaceful conclusion on November 6, 2025. He was 69 years old. Glynn will be fondly remembered for his compassionate spirit and his unwavering dedication to his family and work.

A proud resident of Detroit, Glynn devoted his career to serving others in the security industry. Throughout his time as a security guard, he brought a sense of safety and assurance to those around him, earning the respect of his colleagues and the community alike.

Glynn is survived by his cherished daughte who will carry his memory with love and grace. His kindness, wisdom, and warm smile will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Funeral services to honor Glynn's life will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel. A Family Hour will begin at 12:30 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Prior to the service, friends and family are invited to a Public Viewing on Sunday, November 16th, starting at 9:00 am.

Following the service, Glynn will be laid to rest at Detroit Memorial Park West Cemetery in Redford, MI.
