Gordon Ackerman Obituary

Reverend Ackerman is the beloved husband of 60 years to the late Marilyn Joyce Ackerman (d. 2018). He is the loving father of Kim (Michael) VanErp, Lisa Ackerman and the late Cheryl (the late Scott) Schlosser. Grandfather of Ariel, Shelbie and Dakota.
He was a devoted, faithful and loving husband, father, grandfather and pastor and he will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held at the Walled Lake United Methodist Church, 313 East Northport, Walled Lake (directly behind Lynch and Sons Funeral Home) Friday at 11 AM. Friends may visit at the church Thursday 5- 7 PM and Friday 10 AM until time of service. A luncheon will be held at the church after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Walled Lake United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
