Gordon A. Case, age 92, of Durand, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. He will be laid to rest at a later date with his late wife, June, at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make donations in Gordon's name to Hospice House of Shiawassee. Online condolences can be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
He was born on January 28, 1932, in Bancroft, Michigan to the late Clyde & Gladys Case. Gordon attended Durand High School, class of 1949. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Gordon was a self-employed electrician for 50 years before retiring. In his earlier years Gordon played on many men's golf leagues. Gordon was a jack of all trades who could fix just about anything. He truly enjoyed helping others and always had an ongoing project. In recent years Gordon worked on many puzzles. Above all her loved his family dearly.
Gordon is survived by his five children, Gladys (Gary) Warner, Janice (James) Jones, Donalynn (Jeff) Ingersoll, Laurie (Tom) Medford, and Jonathon (Kristen) Case; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He is further survived by many other dear family members and friends.
