Mr. Davenport passed away on October 18, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born in Morgan County to Norman P. and Mary Davenport.
Gordon loved hunting, cars, and buying stuff, especially at Harbor Freight. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by everyone.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Ann Davenport and his father, Norman Davenport.
Survivors include:
Son- Nate Davenport (April)
Daughter- Lindsey Harris (Michael)
Mother- Mary Davenport Glaze (Buford)
Two brothers- Kevin Davenport and Brent Davenport (Shannon)
Sister- Diane Davenport Kent
Special sister- April Barton
Four grandchildren- Anna Claire Dukeminier, Lennon Davenport, Baylor Harris and Laken Harris
Pallbearers will be friends and family
