During that time, he met his wife, Virginia. They were married in 1962 and lived very happily together until her death in 1989. He had a love for sport and target shooting, loved a good game of golf with his mill buddies, enjoyed caring for his yard and home and worked crossword puzzles with ease. He enjoyed evenings listening to music and working a good jigsaw puzzle.
Gordon's favorite job was being a father to his children, Michele and Kevin and a grandfather to his grandchildren, Macy and Jack. He spent lots of cherished time visiting his children over the years and proudly attended his granddaughter's wedding in 2023. He had a great sense of humor and loved making you laugh. He is very missed by all of us.
