Donna R. Freas

Donna R. Freas, 82, of Elk Lake, Waymart, died suddenly of natural causes on Monday morning, September 15, 2025 with her loving husband by her side. Her husband of 64 years is Jeremiah "Jerry" W. Freas III.

Born February 23, 1943 in Conshohocken, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Donna was the daughter of the late Frank and Norma (Davis) Rakowski.

A faithful and devoted wife and mother, Donna lived her life for her family. She was the bond that held everyone together. Donna will be remembered for loving kindness and dedication to caring for others. She was a devout Christian and was a member of the Catholic Church.

She is also survived by four children: Carol Ann Billetta and her husband Philip of Green Lane, PA, Jeffrey Freas of Dundalk, Maryland, Elizabeth Duff and her husband Michael of Lake Ariel, and Jonathan Freas of Snyder County, PA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Rakowski Borzillo and her husband Vince of Montgomery County, PA.

Donna was also preceded in death by her loving son, Jeremiah W. "Jeddie" Freas IV on February 2, 2024, and his wife, Charea Freas on October 25, 2022.

In accordance with her wishes, following cremation, there will be no public services.
