Gordon Albert Lear, Jr, age 63 passed peacefully October 19, 2025 at Rutland Regional Medical Center.
Gordon was born in Rutland on September 14, 1962. He was the son of Judith Geno and Gordon Lear, Sr. He has been a Brandon resident since 1980's, moving here from Chittenden. Gordon was a carpenter and jack of all trades. He worked for Naylor & Breen, Dave Mott Construction and Lanpher Construction. He was forced to retire due to health issues in 2021.
He is survived by his wife; Terry Lee Lear, his children; Gordon Lear III, Shanda Corey, Trevor Lear, and Dylan Lear, 2 sisters; Brenda and Fawn and 6 brothers; Shawn, Shane, Paul, Howard, Greg, and Rob. Several grandchildren and many nieces, nephews & cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Daniel.
Calling hours will be held at the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon on Saturday, October 25, from 2-4 PM.
Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in his memory to; Brandon Area Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 232, Brandon, VT 05733.

Guess I was the only one who still called my cousin Gordy gogo going way back my cousins were some of my first friends growing up we had alot of fun times from berry picking to family picnics by the brooks to just hanging out at the holidays or Aunt Judy´s camp house in east Pittsford Gordy was always kind and happy and fun to be around love to all his family we will miss him for sure but a lot of great memories they also the Lear original 6 as I call them lived in my moms upstairs apartment on temple st for awhile before Shaun Shane Bobby and Greg were born
