Funeral services for Blonnie M. (Ma) Talbert, age 70 will be held Friday at 2:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Damascus Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Talbert was born in North Carolina a daughter of the late Joseph Young and Allie Mae Whitman Young. She was the world’s greatest Ma. sister, aunt but most of all our best friend.
Surviving are one daughter, Rhonda Talbert (Melton), Hartsville; three grandchildren, Ashlyn Altemose, McKinley Melton and Caroline Altemose, all of Hartsville; Son In Law, John Melton, Hartsville; Special family members, Robin (Doug), Regina and Nancy Jaworski; so many others knowing her as "Ma" too; many other grandchildren and great grandchildren, Haley, Haidynn, Bella, Britney, Brandon, Kaila, Stacie, Addy, Jace (Jessica) Laken & family, Amy, Andrea, Jennifer, April and family, MaNay and Cole; Special fur baby, Tilly Mae; one sister, Josephine Gerald, Lugoff; Many nieces and nephews; speaking often of Chad Young and Nathan. She was preceded in death by her brothers, J.E., W.C., Ray, and her twin brother Ronnie. Leaving behind lots of empty spaces in a lot of hearts until we meet again.
