Gordon Moschke Obituary
Gordon Gerald Moschke, 83, of Shelby, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024. He was born March 27, 1941, in Benona, the son of Gerald and Laverna (Ladegast) Moschke.
Gordon, known as George to his family and friends, was a simple and loving man who enjoyed the great outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting especially moose hunting, or farming. His biggest passion was the Green Bay Packers and his earlier years, photography, even developing his own black and white photos. Gordon enjoyed spending his time with his wife, Marilyn, his beloved dog, Wicket, and going to the Casino with his gambling buddy, Diane.
Gordon is survived by: his loving wife of 34 years, Marilyn; sister, Diane (Robert) Keeler; brothers, Duane Moschke, and Scott Moschke; and nephews, Larry Joe (Julie) Keeler, Jeffrey Keeler, Joshua Moschke, and David Moschke.
Gordon was preceded in death by: his parents; nephews, Jerry Keeler, Steven Keeler, and William Moschke; and sister-in-law, Flo Moschke.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Friday, April 5, 2024, at the Harris Funeral Home, 267 North Michigan Avenue, Shelby, MI 49455. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM, Friday, until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment will follow services in Benona Township Cemetery, Shelby.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice, 1050 West Western Ave, Muskegon, MI 49441, https://harborhospicemi.org.
