Gordon Ellis Norton Sr., age 77, born on the 13th of August, 1948, of Fulton, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15th, 2025.
Gordon dedicated his life to his work and family. For an impressive 25 years, he was a revered laborer at Eagle Communication Electronics in Cicero, NY, contributing greatly to the company and creating lasting friendships with colleagues who respected and admired him.
His life was marked by his unwavering service to his country as a proud member of the Air Force, serving in the Vietnam War. This commitment to honor and duty extended into his personal life, where he found joy in crafting model cars and buildings, indulging in his favorite hobby.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Paula Ann Norton of Fulton, NY, and his cherished daughter, Christina Lewchanin. Gordon leaves behind the legacy of his kindness and strength in his grandchildren, Joey Lewchanin and Michael (Alexa) Lewchanin. His warmth and generosity also touched the lives of several nieces and dear friends, including Carole, Tracy, and Mark.
Gordon was preceded in death by his father, Earl Norton Sr., and his mother, Dorothy Hollis, who instilled in him the values of hard work and kindness that he carried throughout his life. He was also preceded in death by both brothers, Earl L. Norton, Jr and Dennis Norton.
His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A graveside service will be held at a date and time to be announced with full military honors, ensuring Gordon’s memory is honored with the dignity and respect he deserves. To leave a special message for the family, please sign the guestbook.
