Joyce Pearce, 79, of Fulton, NY, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Oswego Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Faylene (Smith) Mason.
Joyce was a graduate of Mexico Academy High School and began her accounting career with Easy Bargain Center and KBC. She later joined the loan department at Fulton Savings Bank, where she eventually retired. After retirement, she worked part-time for Sally’s Beauty Supply. Joyce liked to keep a strict schedule but also knew how to have fun by riding motorcycles and celebrating Halloween. She would make her own costumes and share the holiday spirit by matching costumes with her grandchildren. Joyce will always be remembered for how much she loved her family and for the legacy she has built. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Pearce and two siblings, Ronald Smith, and Constance Skilinskis.
Surviving are her two daughters, Rhonda (Mike) Paulding, and Kim (Larry) Shaffer; five grandchildren, Samantha (Justin) Mitnick, Matthew (Ashley) Sherman, Brandon (Amanda) Sherman, Rachel (Joe) Sica, Jared (Lexi) Paulding; nine great-grandchildren, Lukas, Elliot, Callum, Jackson, Hayley, Everleigh, Beckham, Lucy, and Lincoln; two sisters, Sheila Pullen and Marlea Rossi; brother in law, Walter (Terry) Pearce; and several nieces and nephews.
As per Joyce’s wishes there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
