Gordon M. Rouse, age 72, of Gladstone, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI.
Gordon was born on July 30, 1953 in Escanaba, the son of Gerald and Nadine (Khollman) Rouse. Gordon went to Escanaba High School and enlisted in the United States Navy following graduation. He later married Penny Polkinhorne and they were married for 40 years and had a son Gerald.
He did a lot of touring on his motorcycle. He visited the 48 states and all provinces in Canada. He also enjoyed spending time on his boat. His passion was writing and recording music and playing his many guitars. Overall, he enjoyed spending time hanging out with his family and friends.
Gordon is survived by Nadine (Khollman) Rouse; son Gerald; brothers Daniel (Lisa) Rouse and Stephen (Ann) Rouse; sisters Susan (Rodney) White, Mary (John) Sarnowski, and Connie Rouse; fiancé of 7 years Jan Fletcher; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncle, and cousins.
Gordon was preceded in death by his father Gerald Rouse; late wife Penny Rouse; brother Gerald Rouse; grandparents Robert and Edna Rouse and Fred and Violet Khollman; as well as aunts and uncles.
Gordon's family will receive friends on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the Lakeside Christian Church in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Gordon will begin at 2 pm. A luncheon will follow in the church hall.
