Gordon Ray Vincent

Gordon Ray Vincent, 80, of Camden, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Laurels of Bedford in Battle Creek. He was born March 1, 1945 in Hillsdale to Ray and Valeria (Linebrink) Vincent. He married Bernadine Bassage on July 9, 1967, and she preceded him in death on October 21, 2020.
Gordon was a graduate of Camden-Frontier High School. He was a life-long farmer and also drove truck for the Montgomery Egg Company. Gordon was deeply committed to his community. He served on the Camden-Frontier Board of Education and was one of the longest tenured members of the Camden Fire Department. He with his wife, Bernadine also spent many hours volunteering and fundraising for the Camden-Frontier Athletic Boosters.
Survivors include two children, Deanna (Raynard) Moll of Hudson and James Vincent of Hillsdale; grandchildren, Sydney, Kyle, Kayla, Rianna, Chase and Trey.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Bernadine Vincent.
Funeral services for Gordon Vincent will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading with Rev. Alan Fenstermaker officiating. Burial will follow at West Woodbridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
