Grace Ambrogio Obituary
Grace Ambrogio, 85, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, in the comfort of her home in the company of her children. Born June 29, 1937 in Reggio Calabria, Italy, Grace immigrated to the US via Ellis Island shortly after getting married to her husband, Santo and settled in Norwalk, CT. In 1964 Grace earned her citizenship while raising her family of 3, along with working for Holson Co & Walgreens. Grace was the heart of her family. She was loved by everyone that met her and she never let a visitor leave her home without feeding them a giant Italian meal. She loved gathering with family and friends around the dinner table, especially during the holidays. She also enjoyed watching I Love Lucy and General Hospital. In 2016 she retired to New York. Grace is predeceased by her husband, Santo. She will be greatly missed and is survived by her children, Daughters Carmela Kish and Amelia Pelton, son Frank Ambrogio, Sister Maria Bonnaddio, brother Frank Parisi, grandchildren: Grace Zaloski, Chris DaRoja, Santo DaRoja, Maggie Labonte, Stephanie Kish, 2 great-grandchildren and family in the US and Italy. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Hello Brother Frank and family , my condolences during this time for you all , mamma grace was a great hearted mother to my friend Frank and his family .. ive lost family in the past and it is truly heart renching , but she is away from pain and that always is a blessing .. keep moving forward in life and keep making mamma grace and pappa proud , that is what she wanted ..

Though we never got to meet Momma Grace in person, we had the privilege of spending some time with her son Frank and he would always give her loving messages from us and he would let her know that we were thinking about her. Rest in peace Momma Grace. Your son is an incredible person and know that you are the reason why! <3

OMG! I am so sorry to hear about Grace's passing. I was a customer at Walgreens where Grace worked. I saw her almost every day. We talked all the time. I remembered her from back in the 60's where I attended Roosevelt School with Carmela.
Grace was such a nice lady! My thoughts and prayers go out to the Ambrogio family. God's blessings to you all. R.I.P my friend Grace.
