Grace Elizabeth Cain: 02/20/1939-01/22/2026

On January 22, 2026 Grace Elizabeth Cain went to sleep and woke up in the arms of Jesus. Grace was born on a farm in Lowell Massachusetts on February 20, 1939 to Irene Witkus and John H Cain. Martha Cain is Grace's only sibling who is currently living in North Carolina. The family moved to New Port New Hampshire where they would lay permanent roots. Grace attended The University of New Hampshire before she married Norman L. Lacasse and they begin their family. Grace leaves behind four children, John T. Lacasse and wife Jeannine, Luke E. Lacasse, Elizabeth J. Cain and B.J. Lacasse. She was blessed to have four grand-children Ashley Cain, Ian Lacasse and his wife Jennifer, Nick Lacasse and his wife Kathryn, Chris Lacasse and his wife Illiana. She is also survived by seven great-grand children, Ally, Meredith, Sarah, Felicity, Chloe, Emma, Elvy and Alexjando(arriving this April).

Grace spend her years traveling the county selling her antiques from Florida to Vermont and many states in-between. Her final home was at Bonfire in Leesburg, Florida where she was loved by many in her community. She became know for her relentless pursuit in keeping her neighborhood clean and beautiful. Her final eight years of life were spent at Silver Lake Assisted Living. Martha Bhagwansingh, the owner and her amazing staff gave Grace the most loving and dignified care possible as she lived with dementia until passing. Grace will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. May she be quickly lifted up to heaven and seated at the right hand of the Lord
