Grace Mary (Gracie, Sister Mary Grace) Louise (Marchino) Fein
December 6, 1948 – August 5, 2025
Grace Mary (Gracie, Sister Mary Grace) Louise (Marchino) Fein, age 76, of
Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully on the morning of August 5, 2025, surrounded by love.
Born on December 6, 1948, in Canton, Ohio, Grace Mary was the beloved daughter of Mary (Lattavo) and Charles Marchino. She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1966 and went on to pursue a life of service and compassion, attending Mary Manse College in Toledo, Ohio, and graduating from Mercy School of Nursing in 1970.
Grace Mary was a loving and devoted mother, and her greatest pride and joy were her two sons, David (of Columbus, OH) and Daniel (of
Naples, FL), who survive her. She is also survived by her cherished siblings: brother Anthony Marchiano (Dianne) of
Naples, FL, brother Mark Marchino (Rebecca) of Bradenton, FL, and sister Joan Ellinghausen (Jim) of
Naples, FL. Her former husband, Henry Fein of Columbus, OH, and many loving nieces and nephews also carry forward her memory.
Grace Mary devoted her life to helping others-through both her faith and her calling as a nurse. Her nursing career spanned decades and touched countless lives. From emergency rooms to psychiatric hospitals, from school nurse offices to classrooms, and finally to her work at the Bureau of Workers' Compensation for the State of Ohio. Grace Mary brought care, calmness, and compassion to every role she held. A devout Catholic, her faith remained central throughout her life as she continued to volunteer in countless church and community activities including mental illness counseling, with deep devotion.
Grace Mary had a gentle and joyful spirit. She loved children and animals-especially dogs-and seemed to share a special and unspoken bond with both. Her home was always full of warmth and laughter. She found great joy in baking and loved sharing her creations with family and friends, especially during the holidays. She loved playing golf as well as bowling and cherished the friendships she made in both leagues. Grace Mary also took great pride in her country and devoted countless hours as a volunteer at the voting booths each election.
An avid Ohio sports fan, Grace Mary never missed a game if she could help it-cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavs with the same passion she brought to everything in life.
Above all, Grace Mary lived a life of compassion, kindness, and selflessness. She dedicated her time, her career, and her heart to helping and protecting those in need-especially the most vulnerable. She leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and unwavering faith.
Her light will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched.
A funeral Mass will be held in her honor Saturday August 16th at 11am at St. William Catholic Church, 601 Seagate Drive,
Naples, FL 34108. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 12 noon to 1pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home, 730 30th St NW Canton, Ohio 44709. Inurnment to follow at St John Cemetery (1920 Walden Ave NW, Canton, Ohio 44709). In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) or Avow Hospice of Naples Florida in Grace Mary's memory. The family would like to give a special thank you to Avow Naples for their compassionate and loving care for Grace Mary.
