Grace Hamor Obituary
Grace C. Hamor of Port Jervis died peacefully on October 15, 2023 at home. She was 96.
The daughter of the late Gaylord & Louise Carpenter, she was born on June 12, 1927 in Bushkill, PA.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased in life by her husband John B. Hamor and her sisters Esther Scott, Marge Hastings, Hilda Luhrs and their husbands.
She was the beloved mother of John B. Hamor II, his wife Laura, Ann DeFini, Alan B. Hamor, his wife Michelle, Kathy V. Hamor and Robert H. Hamor with his wife Tina. She was the dear grandmother of Meghan, John, Michael, Craig, his wife, Ashley, Brian and his wife, Caitlin. One of her greatest joys was being Great grandmother of Caeden, Declan and Nolan. She was the cherished aunt of numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
Donations can be made in her name to the National Wildlife Federation.
