Marrion Jane Hamor

Marrion Jane Hamor was born on June 23, 1959, in Lubbock, Texas. She passed away peacefully at the age of 64 in her home in Jacksonville, NC. As a young woman, Marrion grew up in Rocky Mount, NC and attended Fremont Church of God, Fremont, NC.
Marrion was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She doted on her family and was happiest when they could all be together. She enjoyed the scenic views at the beach and especially sharing memories of fishing with family and friends.
Her loving, caring and nurturing nature with forever be remembered.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Margie Farmer and daughter, Kristi Ann Hamor.
Marrion leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Jessie Hamor of Jacksonville, NC; son, Jessie Hamor Jr. of Jacksonville; daughter, Melissa Jones (Tim) of Jacksonville, NC; grandchildren, Danielle Slavey and William Slavey both of Jacksonville; brother, Duane Foster (Lydia) of Rocky Mount, NC; several nieces, nephews and a host of many friends and family.
A Celebration of Marrion's Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday May 30, 2024, at Kahlert Funeral Chapel with Rev. Willie McQueen and Rev. J Mack Taylor, Eulogist, presiding.
